The short course on Gendered Research in Health is aimed to empower researchers and practitioners to carry out gendered research in health. The objectives are to enable the participants to 1) be acquainted with the various concepts used in gender analysis, 2) locate gender-based inequalities within the context of other social inequities, 3) apply gender and rights perspective to epidemiological, quantitative and qualitative research, 4) use outcomes of gendered research to develop communication and advocacy strategies. The course is open for all genders familiar with basic concepts of gender and research and working in the area of health.
