In 2022, Oxford Policy Management conducted a scoping review on gender constraints, barriers, and discrimination faced by facility-based female healthcare providers. This document presents—

a) key findings from a review of benchmarks, frameworks, tools, and indicators used to assess gender integration within health systems,

b) learnings and opportunities relating to integrating gender for healthcare providers,

c) an overview of the policies on gender integration for women healthcare providers in health systems in India, and

d) what experts have to say on gender integration for healthcare providers.
